The Movement

Your Steps Have the Power to Change Eternity.

Thousands of people will walk this year. Some will walk for fitness. Others will walk for fun. We invite you to walk for something greater.

Every mile you complete helps send the Gospel where it is needed most. Join believers across the nation as we walk together to support missions, strengthen churches, and reach lives in Nigeria.

Your steps become hope. Your generosity becomes opportunity. Together, we are sending the Gospel one step at a time.

Walk. Give. Share. Change Lives.

Campaign Vision

Miles 4 Missions is more than a 30-day walking challenge. It is a global movement where ordinary people take ordinary steps that produce extraordinary Kingdom impact.

People don't give to miles.

People give to mission.

Every walker becomes a missionary.

Every mile helps

  • Preach the Gospel
  • Train pastors
  • Feed families
  • Plant churches
  • Disciple new believers
  • Reach unreached communities

Today We Walk For

Today we walked for Pastor Samuel in Nigeria, who pastors nearly 100 believers under a temporary shelter. Every mile helps leaders like him continue sharing Christ.

Pastor SamuelNigeria

Our Mission

Every step you take helps restore sight.

Pastor Dr. Earl Newton with young people in Nigeria

This year, our flagship initiative is Vision Sunday — but every mile you walk fuels the whole picture: church planting, pastor training, and the Gospel going where it's needed most, with restored sight leading the way.

Miles for Missions turns ordinary walking into vision care, prescription eyeglasses, and the love of Christ shared across Nigeria. Churches, businesses, families, and individuals commit to walking miles through the campaign month while raising support.

Your participation helps local churches serve thousands of families through medical outreach, vision screenings, and Gospel ministry — all leading up to Vision Sunday.

Why We Walk

Six reasons every mile matters

Walking is simple. What it makes possible is not.

Restoring Vision

Screenings and surgical referrals that give people back the sight they thought was gone for good.

Gospel

Sharing the Gospel

Care of the body opens the door for prayer, discipleship, and the hope of Christ.

Prescription Glasses

A pair costs almost nothing here — and changes everything there. Most people we serve have never had an eye exam.

Medical Outreach

Volunteer clinicians screen, diagnose, and refer — meeting physical needs with dignity and care.

Supporting Local Churches

Every outreach is hosted by a Nigerian congregation and strengthens their ministry long after we leave.

Restored sight means children in school, parents at work, and neighborhoods that flourish.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I participate?
Register as an individual, family, business, or church team. Once registered, log your miles anywhere — treadmill, trail, or church parking lot — throughout the 30-day campaign.
How are donations used?
Your gift fuels the full scope of Kingdom Life Nigeria's work — evangelism, pastor training, and church planting — with this year's flagship initiative being Vision Sunday: vision screenings, prescription glasses, and medical outreach across Nigeria.
Where do I walk?
Anywhere. Many walkers use a treadmill, a neighborhood route, a local trail, or laps around their church parking lot. What matters is logging the miles, not where you log them.
Can children participate?
Yes — families are encouraged to walk together, and there's a Youth Champion recognition category built into the Church Challenge.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. You'll receive a tax-deductible receipt by email immediately after giving.
Can my church join?
Absolutely — register as a Team and choose 'Church' as your organization type. Churches can compete in the Church Challenge categories (Largest Team, Most Miles, Highest Giving, and more) and host a drop-off or event location on the Event Map.
